iASYS Coriolis fuel meter is used to measure the fuel consumption of an engine in a test bed. This device uses the Coriolis principle based sensor to measure the mass flow, which gives more accurate measurement.

iASYS gravimetric fuel meter works on the principle of gravity flow to determine the average fuel flow rate for steady state operations.

 
  • PLC based fuel flow measurement and control.

iASYS back pressure controller is fitted at the exhaust line before the place where samples are taken. This back pressure controller has great impact on engine power. If the back pressure is more, then the power output of the engine is reduced. The back pressure controller is nothing but a pressure regulator which regulates the pressure in exhaust line.

Conditioning

iASYS Coriolis fuel meter is used to measure the fuel consumption of an engine in a test bed. This device uses the Coriolis principle based sensor to measure the mass flow, which gives more accurate measurement.

The coolant conditioning system will be used in engine test benches for controlling the temperature of engine coolant. The standard unit is capable to control coolant temperature of engines upto 250 kW (higher capacities available on request).

  • iASYS ECAPS prepares the combustion air for engine. The ambient air is conditioned to required temperature, humidity and pressure is maintained at the engine inlet.
  • The centrifugal fan delivers the air to duct. The blower can generate high pressure up to 100 mbar more than atmosphere at the blower outlet.
  • The cooling coil and air duct heater are used to control the temperature of air.
  • The humidifier controls the humidity.
  • A high dynamic butterfly valve controls the pressure at inlet of engine.
  • The complete unit is installed in a sound proof enclosure.
    An user friendly HMI is integrated to the system for configuration and set point to the controller. Real time trend can be visualized in the HMI.

Actuators

iASYS Throttle actuator is based on high-performance servo motor controlled by servo drive with resolver feedback. The throttle actuator is suitable for applications ranging from small two-stroke engines to heavy diesel engines. The throttle actuator is easy to use and can be easily interfaced with any automation system.
