Job Overview/ Summary

The HR Business partner is responsible to lead and facilitate HR processes, systems and
policies in alignment with the business objectives for the organization. The position
formulates partnerships across the all leaders in respective functions to deliver value-added
service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the
organization. The incumbent will work towards maximizing staffing resources, performance
and competency up-gradation, ensuring economy and efficiency of work processes and
implementing a culture of passion and ownership across the organization in line with the
organizational values. The HR team will be reporting to this position and the candidate is
responsible for mentoring and coaching of the team.

Key Responsibilities (Deliverable):

1. Development of employees to support business objectives.
2. Develop and maintain HR systems for attracting, retaining and motivating
employees for improved employee performance.
3. Ensure good employee relations.
4. Organisational Development through systems and good management practices.
5. Ensure statutory compliances and liaison with relevant authorities.

Key activities

1. Development of employees to support business objectives.
a) Develop HR plan for execution based on the business plan.
b) Monitor, review, control as per plan.
c) Prepares annual manpower and HR budget and year on year manpower plan
based on business objectives.
d) Identifies development needs through competency gap analysis and various
other methods.
e) Organizes on the job and off the job training to reduce competency gap of the
employees.
f) Evaluate training effectiveness and take appropriate actions.
g) MIS to CEO and Director.
2. Develop and maintain HR systems for attracting, retaining and motivating
employees for attracting, retaining and motivating employees for improved
employee performance.
a) Design and implements innovative means for sourcing the candidates.
b) Attract the best talent for the organization through cost effective recruitment
process & tool.
c) Interviews candidates for timely recruitment of sanctioned vacancies with required
competencies.
d) Arranges induction to new employees to help them to effectively shoulder their
responsibilities.
e) Ensure timely goals / KRAs setting.

f) Timely implement of Performance appraisal process and increments.
g) Identify low/non-performers through Managers and make a plan to improve their
performance or recommend separation.
h) Exit analysis and initiating corrective actions.
i) Implement of HR policy Manual.
j) Based on the relevant feedback of the employees initiates action to develop/modify
the HR policies.
k) Ensure timely recognition to deserving employees.
l) Ensures correct and timely salary payment to the employees.
3. Ensure good employee relationship.
a) Sensing employee issues by formal and informal methods and taking appropriate
actions.
b) Communication with Managers to resolve grievances of the employees and guide
management proactively.
c) Hold regular monthly meetings.
d) Initiates appropriate actions based on feedback received in Birthday meetings,
Management inductions, Staff meetings etc.
e) Organizes employee welfare activities like Cultural days, annual day, sports day and
birthday celebrations.
4. Organizational Development through systems and good management practices.
a) Monitor and effective implementation of HRIS.
b) Liaise with external consultant for audits and implement the corrective actions.
c) Take up specific HR projects as per the business requirement.
5. Ensure statutory compliances and liaison with relevant authorities.
a) Ensures timely compliance under various labour laws.
b) Maintains liaisons with external various government authorities and represents the
organization effectively.
